IMPORTANT: This compatible cartridge comes without a chip. You need to move the chip from your original (OEM) cartridge and place it onto this compatible cartridge. This means that the printer will show "empty" or "0" toner supply due to the used chip, but the cartridge will still be able to print for the full life cycle and you can bypass the supply message that will pop up by following the simple instructions included. Print yield or quality will remain unaffected. Transferring the chip is easy to do and takes just a few seconds, instructions included, which will make it easy for you to move the chip from your original cartridge to this compatible cartridge. While the majority of chips can be easily removed from empty cartridges, there are some cartridges that have their chips glued and cannot be removed. We recommend that before you purchase a compatible cartridge without a chip, you should first make sure that your original cartridge chip is removable.
